THE·TEAM leads Transfermarkt’s ranking of football agencies by the combined market value of players moved during the summer of 2026. Its €907.5mm total puts it ahead of CAA Stellar on €626mm and Unique Sports Group on €530mm.

The ranking also shows how differently agencies operate. Some appear near the top through hundreds of recorded player moves. Others reach similar levels with a much smaller group of higher-valued footballers.

How this football agency ranking works

The agencies are ordered by the graphic’s “market value moved” column: the combined estimated market value of the players recorded as transferred.

This measure is separate from the fees clubs paid for those players. It also does not measure agency revenue, commissions or profit. A player can have a substantial estimated market value while moving on loan or without a transfer fee.

Each entry below includes the number of players transferred and the agency’s listed player roster from the same graphic. Transfermarkt’s database coverage is incomplete, and the figures should be read as a recorded snapshot rather than a comprehensive audit of agency business. The graphic does not provide a player-by-player breakdown or explain every inclusion rule.

THE·TEAM leads, while three major agencies follow

THE·TEAM, formerly Wasserman, combines the highest market value moved with the largest transferred-player count in this ranking: 377 players. Its lead over second-placed CAA Stellar is €281.5mm.

Behind the leader, three agencies each exceed €440mm in market value moved. CAA Stellar, associated with co-founder David Manasseh, records 204 transferred players. Unique Sports Group, led by Will Salthouse, records 198. CAA Base, founded by Leon Angel, records 201.

Those closely matched player counts produce noticeably different market-value totals. Agency activity and the estimated value of the players involved are two distinct ways to assess the transfer market.

Gestifute and Bertolucci Sports stand out for value per player moved

Gestifute, founded by Jorge Mendes, takes fifth place with €435.3mm across 49 transferred players. That is close to fourth-placed CAA Base despite a substantially smaller transferred-player count.

Dividing the graphic’s market-value total by its transferred-player count gives approximately €8.88mm per player for Gestifute. For Bertolucci Sports, the equivalent figure is approximately €13.37mm: €227.3mm spread across 17 players. These are calculations from the published figures, not average transfer fees.

Roc Nation Sports also ranks above agencies with much larger transferred-player counts, reaching eighth place with €261.7mm across 37 players. Gol International records the smallest transferred-player count among the 20 listed agencies, with 16 players accounting for €137.3mm.

Smaller rosters also feature in the top 20

Classico records €172.7mm in market value moved against a listed roster of 70 players. Stirr Associates appears with an 86-player roster, while World Soccer Agency reaches the top 20 with 44 listed players.

These figures show why roster size alone cannot explain the ranking. The number of players moving, their estimated values and the composition of an agency’s client list all affect its position.

Explore the players and people behind the agencies

The directory profiles provide further context on the agencies’ wider portfolios. Examples include Lamine Yamal (FC Barcelona) at Gestifute, Cole Palmer (Chelsea FC) at CAA Base, and Pedro González López, known as Pedri (FC Barcelona) at Leaderbrock Sports.

These examples illustrate agency representation, separately from the players counted as transferred in the graphic. The linked profiles cover client rosters, key people, services and career histories, giving readers a fuller picture of the organisations behind the ranking.
