Yan Diomande is an Ivorian winger who plays for RB Leipzig and the Ivory Coast national team. Primarily deployed on the left flank, he is known for his explosive acceleration, direct dribbling and ability to attack defenders in one-on-one situations.

Leganés signed Diomande in November 2024 after his development period in the United States. Within months, he progressed through the reserve team and into senior La Liga football.
RB Leipzig activated the release clause in his Leganés contract in July 2025. The transfer represented a significant return for the Spanish club and continued Leipzig’s strategy of investing in young players with elite physical and technical potential.
Playing profile
Diomande is primarily a left winger but can operate from either side of the attack. As a right-footed player starting on the left, he can carry the ball inside towards goal or continue down the outside to create crossing opportunities.
