Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is a Georgian left winger who plays for Paris Saint-Germain and captains the Georgia national team. Known for his exceptional dribbling, creativity and unpredictability in one-on-one situations, he has developed into one of the leading wide attackers in European football.
Kvaratskhelia joined PSG from Napoli in January 2025 and quickly became an important part of Luis Enrique’s attacking system. His ability to create chances independently, operate from either flank and contribute both goals and assists has made him a major attacking reference for the French champions.
His rise to the top of European football followed an unconventional pathway through Georgia and Russia. After spells with Dinamo Tbilisi, Rustavi, Lokomotiv Moscow, Rubin Kazan and Dinamo Batumi, he joined Napoli in 2022 and immediately became one of Serie A’s standout players.
At international level, Kvaratskhelia is the leading figure of Georgian football. He played a decisive role in Georgia’s historic qualification for UEFA Euro 2024 and was appointed captain of the senior national team in 2026.

Kvaratskhelia appointed Moussa Sissoko as his new representative in August 2026 following the conclusion of his long-standing relationship with Georgian agent Mamuka Jugeli.
Jugeli had guided Kvaratskhelia through much of his rise from Georgian football to Rubin Kazan, Napoli and eventually Paris Saint-Germain. The change therefore represents a significant development in the player’s off-field career.
Sissoko has become one of the most influential representatives around PSG and already works with several major French-based attacking players, including Ousmane Dembélé, Désiré Doué and Bradley Barcola.

Kvaratskhelia’s transfer to Napoli proved to be one of the most successful recruitment moves in recent Serie A history. He arrived for a relatively modest fee and immediately developed into the attacking symbol of Napoli’s first league-title-winning team since 1990.
After two and a half seasons in Italy, Kvaratskhelia moved to PSG during the January 2025 transfer window. He became the first Georgian player in Paris Saint-Germain’s history.
Playing profile
Kvaratskhelia is primarily a left winger but can operate from either flank or in more central attacking positions. He is comfortable using both feet, although he frequently begins on the left before moving inside towards goal.
His defining quality is his one-on-one ability. Kvaratskhelia constantly challenges defenders and uses changes of pace, body feints and unpredictable touches to create separation.
Unlike purely speed-based wingers, he can beat opponents from a standing start. His ability to slow down an action before suddenly accelerating makes it difficult for defenders to anticipate his next movement.
He is also a highly creative player. Kvaratskhelia can produce through balls, crosses, cutbacks and combinations around the penalty area while attracting multiple defenders towards his side of the pitch.
His finishing provides another dimension. He is comfortable shooting after moving inside from the left, can score from distance and possesses enough technical quality with either foot to finish from different angles.
At PSG, his game has become increasingly tactically disciplined. He contributes to pressing, defensive recovery and positional rotations while retaining the individual freedom that makes him particularly dangerous.
