About
Cristiano Ronaldo is a Portuguese centre-forward who plays for Al-Nassr FC and captains the Portugal national team. One of the most successful footballers in the history of the sport, he has won five Ballon d'Or awards and league titles in England, Spain, Italy and Saudi Arabia.
Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr at the beginning of 2023 after leaving Manchester United. His arrival became a defining moment for the Saudi Pro League, preceding the recruitment of numerous high-profile players by clubs across the competition. Ronaldo's representation structure is more complex than that of most elite players. He was represented for approximately two decades by Jorge Mendes and Gestifute, with Mendes involved in virtually every major transfer from Ronaldo's early Manchester United career through Real Madrid, Juventus and his return to Old Trafford.
The long-standing sporting relationship with Mendes changed around Ronaldo's departure from Manchester United in 2022. Ricardo Regufe subsequently became a major figure around Ronaldo and played a central role in negotiating his original move to Al-Nassr.

Ronaldo's 2009 move from Manchester United to Real Madrid was a world-record transfer at the time. He subsequently became Real Madrid's all-time leading scorer, registering more goals than appearances during his nine seasons in Spain.
Juventus invested more than €100m to sign him at the age of 33 before Manchester United brought him back to the Premier League three years later.
