ISO client Vlahovic moves closer to Besiktas
International Sports Office client Dusan Vlahovic has given his initial green light to Besiktas after the Turkish club presented a serious contract proposal.
A three-year contract has been verbally agreed today, with the final paperwork now in the hands of the player’s legal side. If the documents are approved without issues, Vlahovic could fly to Istanbul within the next 48 hours to complete the move.
The deal is not formally signed yet, but this is now the most advanced route for the Serbian striker after weeks of free-agent uncertainty.
Besiktas push strongest on salary and role
Besiktas have moved aggressively because Vlahovic offers a rare opportunity: a 26-year-old international striker available without a transfer fee.
The financial package has been central to the talks. Reports in England and Spain have pointed to Besiktas as the club most willing to match the salary level expected by the player’s camp, while other European clubs monitored the situation without moving decisively enough.
For Vlahovic, the sporting role also matters. He needs a team that makes him the central No.9, supplies him regularly and gives him a stable platform after a difficult final year at Juventus. Besiktas can offer status, responsibility and a fan base that will immediately treat him as a marquee arrival.
Juventus chapter ended after long standoff
Vlahovic left Juventus after his contract expired on 30 June 2026, following a long disagreement over renewal terms.

The numbers still carry weight
Vlahovic’s final Juventus season was not his most explosive, but his wider record remains strong enough to explain Besiktas’ push.
Transfermarkt’s 2025/26 data listed him with six goals and two assists in 17 appearances, while StatMuse credited him with five Serie A goals and one assist in 18 league matches. Juventus’ own season data listed seven Serie A goals, one assist and three Champions League goals from a reduced minutes load.
The broader picture is more important. Vlahovic scored 68 goals in 168 appearances for Juventus and has more than 90 Serie A goals across his time with Fiorentina and Juventus. He is left-footed, 1.90m, powerful in the box and still only 26.
That is why Besiktas see the upside. Even after an uneven final Juventus year, this is not a veteran stopgap. It is a striker in his prime who can still become one of the most productive forwards in Turkey.
Agency angle
This is one of the biggest summer files for International Sports Office and Darko Ristic.
ISO is a Belgrade-based agency founded in 2015 and built around Balkan-to-elite pathways. Vlahovic has always been the agency’s flagship client. His Fiorentina-to-Juventus move in 2022 made ISO widely visible in the European market, and this free-agent decision is another defining career moment.
The agency’s job has been complex. Vlahovic had interest from Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea and other clubs, but interest is not the same as a final contract. Besiktas moved most concretely, and the three-year verbal agreement now gives the player a clear route back into football after several weeks without a club.
