About
Football International Academy (FIA) is an independent Slovakia-based football academy focused on helping ambitious players train in a professional environment and prepare for the next step in their careers. Unlike a traditional grassroots youth club, FIA is positioned as a residential development project where players live, train, recover, and compete within a structured football setting.
The project was launched in 2024, when the academy officially entered a men’s team into Slovak FA competition. According to founder Peter Cinege, that step was important for supporting the wider long-term goal of developing young players in a serious and competitive environment.
FIA’s core idea is simple but distinctive: give players the chance to experience daily football life in a way that mirrors the professional game.
The academy also highlights its role in the early development journeys of Fanendo Adi and Victor Olatunji, presenting both as examples of players who arrived in Slovakia as relatively unknown young talents and later built professional careers. Victor Olatunji played for Sparta Prague and is now with Real Salt Lake in MLS

Programmes
Camp Program – A shorter football-development block focused on training, testing, friendly matches, player exposure, accommodation, meals, and training apparel.
Academy / Develop Program – A longer residential programme (3 months) built around daily two-phase training, testing, match exposure, video analysis, highlights, and active communication with clubs.
