HCM client Akliouche completes PSG move
HCM Sports Management client Maghnes Akliouche has signed for Paris Saint-Germain from AS Monaco in a deal worth €50m.
The France international has signed a contract until June 2031 and will wear the No.11 shirt in Paris. Akliouche made it clear throughout the process that PSG was his only choice, giving the French champions a strong player-side advantage during negotiations with Monaco.
The deal now gives Luis Enrique another high-level attacking midfielder who knows Ligue 1, has Champions League experience and is entering the best years of his career.
PSG get the player they wanted
PSG had been working on Akliouche for weeks, with several approaches made before Monaco finally accepted a €50m offer.
The 24-year-old was one of the most attractive French-market players available this summer. He is left-footed, technically sharp, creative between the lines and capable of playing as a right winger, attacking midfielder or interior creator.
That flexibility matters for PSG. Luis Enrique’s squad already has elite attacking quality, but Akliouche gives them another French profile who can combine in tight spaces, press intelligently and add end product without needing time to understand Ligue 1.
Akliouche leaves Monaco after major development
For Monaco, the sale closes an important academy story.
Akliouche joined Monaco’s academy in 2017 and developed through La Diagonale before becoming a first-team regular. He leaves as one of the club’s biggest recent homegrown successes, after turning promise into consistent senior production.
AS Monaco’s official data for 2025/26 lists him with 43 appearances, 40 starts, 3,425 minutes, seven goals and seven assists. Opta Analyst records six Ligue 1 goals and six Ligue 1 assists in 31 league appearances.
Those numbers show why PSG pushed. Akliouche was not only a talent with potential. He was already a productive Ligue 1 creator and a France World Cup squad member.
Agency angle
This is another major deal for HCM Sports Management and Hasan Çetinkaya.
Akliouche was pictured alongside Çetinkaya and Jaspal Singh Gill of HCM Sports Management after the move, underlining the agency’s role in the transfer. HCM’s profile has grown strongly in recent years, with a roster including Viktor Gyökeres, Frenkie de Jong, Antonio Rüdiger, Hugo Larsson, Ismael Saibari and Akliouche.
For HCM, this is a flagship Ligue 1 transaction. The agency helped guide a Monaco academy graduate into PSG on a long contract, while managing a process where the player’s preference was clear from the beginning.
Akliouche only wanted PSG. That kind of clarity can be decisive in a transfer, especially when the selling club is negotiating from a strong position.
PSG add another French core player
This move also fits PSG’s wider squad-building direction.
The club have moved away from purely star-driven recruitment and toward a younger, more balanced group with major French talent at the centre. Akliouche now joins a squad that already includes players such as Warren Zaïre-Emery, Bradley Barcola and Désiré Doué.
The No.11 shirt adds another layer of expectation. PSG are not signing Akliouche as a background option. They are giving him a visible role, a long contract and a platform to become a major attacking figure at the Parc des Princes.
A decisive step in Akliouche’s career
Akliouche has chosen the biggest club in France at the right moment.
He leaves Monaco with strong numbers, World Cup recognition and a clear identity as one of the best attacking midfielders developed in Ligue 1. PSG now get a player who does not need to adapt to the league, only to the demands of a club where domestic wins are expected and Champions League performance defines the season.
For FootballAgencies readers, this is the key point: HCM Sports Management have turned another high-value client file into a Champions League-level move. Akliouche wanted Paris, PSG wanted Akliouche, and the €50m agreement now makes it official.
