ProStar-linked Domchak signs for Slavia
ProStar Football Agency are connected to one of the most interesting Eastern European goalkeeper moves of the summer, with Nazar Domchak signing for Slavia Prague from Karpaty Lviv.
The deal is worth €5m, with all documents now signed. Ukrainian reporting states that Domchak’s contract with Slavia will run until the end of June 2031, while an official club announcement is expected.
For Slavia, this is a serious investment. A €5m fee for a 19-year-old goalkeeper from the Ukrainian Premier League is not a normal squad-depth move. It is a long-term bet on one of the most highly rated young shot-stoppers in the region.
Why Slavia moved early
Domchak arrives from Karpaty Lviv after a breakout season in Ukraine. UA-Football reports that he kept 15 clean sheets in 29 matches across all competitions in 2025/26, an excellent return for a teenage goalkeeper in a senior league environment.
Other public stat feeds list him at 18 Ukrainian Premier League appearances and two Ukrainian Cup matches this season, with Ukraine U19 involvement also part of his recent profile. UEFA lists him as a goalkeeper for Ukraine’s U19 setup, underlining his status inside the national-team pathway.
Slavia’s decision also makes sense because the club has become an attractive development platform for goalkeepers. Antonin Kinsky’s move from Slavia to Tottenham showed how Eden can function as a serious stepping stone for elite young keepers. Domchak now arrives into a club that can offer domestic pressure, European football and a clear route to higher visibility.
Champions League football was decisive
Reports around the deal suggest that Lille also showed interest, but Domchak chose Slavia’s project. The Champions League factor appears to have been important.
That is a major point. Slavia are not only offering first-team football in the Czech league. They are offering European exposure, a demanding tactical environment and the chance to develop under pressure at a club used to selling talent into stronger leagues.
For a young Ukrainian goalkeeper, that route can be very attractive. The move keeps him in Central Europe, places him in a competitive but manageable step-up league, and gives him the platform to build value quickly if he adapts.
The agency angle
For ProStar Football Agency, this is exactly the type of move that reflects the agency’s wider market identity. ProStar was founded by Vadym Shablii and represents major names such as Mykhailo Mudryk, Georgiy Sudakov, Vitaliy Mykolenko, and Yegor Yarmolyuk among the high-profile players linked to its network, with a strong record of moving players into better European football environments.
Domchak’s transfer is not only about the immediate fee. It is about placing a high-potential Ukrainian goalkeeper into a club with Champions League football, strong scouting visibility and a proven export record.
A goalkeeper’s career has to be managed differently from an outfield player’s. Minutes, trust, club style, language, goalkeeper coaching and timing all matter. Slavia gives Domchak a realistic next step rather than a jump straight into a top-five-league bench role.
Slavia make a statement
Slavia Prague have been aggressive in building a squad capable of competing domestically and in Europe. Paying €5m for Domchak shows ambition, but also confidence in their scouting model.
The club are buying potential before the wider market becomes too expensive. If Domchak adapts quickly, this fee could look smart within a year or two. If he needs time, the 2031 contract gives Slavia room to develop him properly.
For FootballAgencies readers, the move is another sign of how important agency networks are becoming in Central and Eastern Europe. Domchak’s transfer connects Ukraine, Czech football, Champions League opportunity and long-term player planning in one deal. Slavia get a major goalkeeper prospect; ProStar’s Ukrainian talent pipeline gets another high-profile European move.
