Elevenelite client Leao joins Galatasaray
Elevenelite SRL client Rafael Leao has completed his move from AC Milan to Galatasaray, with the Portuguese winger already presented by the Turkish club.
AC Milan are set to receive a package in excess of €45m when add-ons are included, while the deal also contains a sell-on clause. Galatasaray moved decisively after Aston Villa pushed for the player, improving their terms and convincing Leao to accept the move to Istanbul.
For Galatasaray, this is a huge statement. Leao arrives as one of the biggest attacking names to move to Turkey in recent years and gives the club a winger with Champions League pedigree, Serie A title experience and Portugal national-team status.
Galatasaray win after improved proposal
Leao’s decision came after Galatasaray raised the level of their proposal.
Aston Villa were pushing, and the Premier League option remained attractive because of the financial power and English-market visibility. But Galatasaray’s improved terms changed the direction of the deal and gave the player a clear starring role in one of Europe’s most intense football environments.
The Turkish champions were looking for a marquee wide forward who could immediately transform their attack. Leao gives them exactly that: speed, dribbling, power, carry distance and the ability to decide matches from the left side.
This is not a squad-depth signing. Galatasaray are bringing in a player who can become the face of their attack.
Milan close a major chapter
For AC Milan, Leao’s exit ends one of the defining player stories of the modern club era.
He joined from Lille in 2019 and developed from a high-upside talent into one of Serie A’s most dangerous forwards. He was central to Milan’s 2021/22 Scudetto, won Serie A Player of the Season that year and became one of the club’s most marketable stars.
His Milan record stands at more than 290 appearances, with around 80 goals and 65 assists across all competitions. That production made him one of the Rossoneri’s most important attacking players for several seasons.
But the timing of the sale makes sense. Milan receive a significant fee, protect upside through the sell-on clause, and move on before the player’s market situation becomes more complicated.
The numbers behind the move
Leao’s final Milan season still showed his quality, even if his role and consistency were debated.
Across the 2025/26 campaign, public data credited him with 43 appearances, 11 goals and 10 assists in all competitions. In Serie A, he produced seven goals and eight assists in 31 matches.
Those are not peak-Leao numbers, but they remain strong wide-forward output. Galatasaray are buying a player who can create on his own, force defensive adjustments and carry the ball through pressure in a way very few wingers can.
At 27, he is also not arriving as a veteran name at the end of the road. He is still in his prime years.
Agency angle
This is a major transfer for Elevenelite SRL, the agency now representing Leao.
Elevenelite is led by Italian agent Letterio Pino and has been active across Serie A and international football. A deal of this size places the agency at the centre of one of the biggest late-window attacking moves in Europe. The agency also represents Mauro Icardi, who is already at Galatasaray.

The expectation will be immediate. He will be judged on goals, assists, Champions League nights and derby performances. The advantage is that Galatasaray can give him something he may not have had elsewhere: a central attacking identity from day one.
For Milan, this is the end of a major era. For Galatasaray, it is a market coup. For Elevenelite, it is a flagship transfer involving one of Europe’s most recognisable wingers.
