Rabbaj signs first professional contract until 2028
Chelsea have confirmed academy attacker Ibrahim Rabbaj has signed his first professional contract, committing his future to the club until at least 2028.
The deal was quickly followed by a post showing FA Sport agent Louis Bell alongside Rabbaj, noting Bell negotiated the agreement for the teenager’s first pro contract through to 2028.
Why Rabbaj is rated as one of Chelsea’s standout talents
Rabbaj has built a reputation inside and outside Cobham as one of Chelsea’s most exciting young attackers. Chelsea describe him as a “creative attacking midfielder” who has been an influential figure throughout his schoolboy years at the club.
External coverage has also framed Rabbaj as a top-level prospect, driven by the buzz around his technical quality, confidence on the ball and end-product at academy level.
Rabbaj joined Chelsea from Crystal Palace at Under-12s level and has steadily progressed through the academy ranks into a player the club now want to protect with pro term.
Agency angle: FA Sport and Louis Bell
Rabbaj is represented by FA Sport, a London-based agency co-founded by licensed FA agents Louis Bell and Oliver Ward. The agency positions itself around supporting elite academy talents into senior football – a clear fit for a player signing his first pro contract and stepping into the next stage of his career.
For Chelsea, this is a clear “tie him down early” move: securing one of their most talked-about young attackers on long-term terms while mapping the next steps – U18 football, potential U21 exposure, and eventually the senior pathway if his development continues at the same pace.
